After a long time of using the plotter in garment factories in Vietnam since the early 90s, there have gradually appeared old plotter printers that have been used up and discarded by large enterprises or bankrupted and then collected by purchasing sources. So if we want to buy an old plotter for use, how should we choose to best suit the capabilities of our business as well as have long-term stability? Below I will give some personal opinions for everyone to refer to. If you choose to buy a used plotter, you should choose machines that are in operation and have gone bankrupt to buy because if you buy them like that, these machines are still in good working condition and rarely need to be replaced or repaired. But if you buy a machine that the business has used up all its depreciation and they have to spend a lot of money to repair and maintain, when we buy it later, it will also take a lot of time to repair the machine and also cost money.

Used plotters that come from Europe are often chosen by large garment companies with economic potential. If they are discarded after the depreciation is over, there is almost nothing left because they have been repaired many times and it works too picky, so they discard it. We should not choose to buy it because later if it breaks down and has to be repaired, it will cost too much, sometimes the cost of one replacement is even higher than the cost of buying that old machine.

If we buy a used plotter printer that is made in China, we should choose a machine that has been in operation for 3 years or less because if we use it for a long time, the machine's mechanical system will have many problems, so the accuracy will not be high and the noise will be loud. When buying, we should see if the brand is famous or not, how many years it has existed because this problem greatly affects the quality and stability of the machine.

When buying a used plotter printer, we also need to find out if there is any unit in Vietnam that still supplies and guarantees this brand, because some companies will abandon it due to poor quality or bankruptcy. If we buy an old machine that breaks down and there is no unit that can guarantee and repair it, it will become a piece of scrap metal when it breaks down.

Those are some of my personal opinions on choosing to buy a used plotter printer.
